Thank you for shopping with Gunii! We value your satisfaction and aim to provide the highest quality products. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully, as it explains your rights and obligations regarding the return and refund of our products.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

Under German law, consumers have the right to cancel their online purchase of goods within 14 days without providing any reason. This withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a third party named by you (other than the carrier), take possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us clearly, either by mail or email, of your decision to cancel your order. You may use the standard withdrawal information below.

2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following goods:

  • Perishable products: Due to the nature of biltong & Droewors (Or any items related to dried meat or produce) as a perishable food item, products that spoil quickly or have a limited expiration date are not eligible for withdrawal once the packaging is opened.
  • Customized or personalized products: Any biltong that has been specially customized (e.g., specific flavors or cuts) cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Unsealed goods for health and hygiene reasons: Products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (such as opened packages of biltong) are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

3. Returns and Refunds

If you cancel your order within the 14-day withdrawal period, we will refund all payments received from you, including the delivery costs (except for any additional costs incurred if you selected a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we explicitly agree otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Conditions for Returns:

  • The product(s) must be unopened and in its original packaging.
  • You must return the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel the contract. We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return.
  • You must take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned to us. Any reduction in value of the goods due to unnecessary handling or damage may result in a deduction from your refund.

4. Faulty or Damaged Products

If the product you receive is damaged or defective, or if there is an error with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods. You will be entitled to either a replacement or a refund, including any shipping costs. We may require photographic or video evidence of the damage or defect.

5. Delivery Issues and Non-Delivery

If your order has not been delivered within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include offering a refund or reshipping the order.
