Boerewors (Directly Translated to Farmer Sausage) is one of the most beloved and well-known items to have on the Braai (BBQ). It is renowned for its Bold, savoury flavour and unique spice blend. Our Traditional Boerewors is made from Premium Quality Beef & Pork and spiced with Coriander, Black Pepper and a mix of our secret spices. Boerewors is perfect for Braai (Grilling), Pan-frying, or made in the oven. This juicy, succulent sausage delivers an authentic taste of South African heritage, ideal for hearty meals or casual gatherings.

Please note: To keep our costs as low as possible, we produce our Boerewors in big batches. This means we make and ship our Boerewors twice per month (every 2nd & 4th Monday/Tuesday per month).

INGREDIENTS: Beef & Pork (70%), Added Fat (26%), Red Wine Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Water, Salt, Spice Mix [Wheat Bran (GLUTEN), Maize (genetically modified), Spices, Preservative: Sodium Sulphite (SULPHITES) (E221), Flavour Enhancer: Monosodium Glutamate (E621), Flavour Enhancer: Disodium 5′-Ribonucleotides (E635)], Pork Casings.
Instructions: Once received, Keep refrigerated at ≤+4°C/40°F and consume within 5 days. Once vacuum sealed pack is opened, keep covered and consume within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can freeze your Boerewors for up to 6 months. If Frozen, leave in fridge for 24 hours to thaw before cooking for best quality. Additionally, remove Boerewors from package and allow to rest for 15-20 minutes at room temperature (ambient) before cooking.

Boerewors and other non-dried items are shipped frozen but may arrive thawed, but should remain cold enough to comply with cold shipment regulations. We can only guarantee this with Express Shipping. Other shipping options are at your own risk. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package in person. We are not responsible for the condition of frozen items if the delivery is missed.
